As part of the induction process for new Health and Wellbeing Board members, the first meeting of each municipal year gives Democratic Services the opportunity to explain the Council’s governance and how the Health and Wellbeing Board and its member organisations fit with those arrangements and the Council’s political structure.
The Board noted:
(i) The status of the Board as a statutory Committee of the Council with the authority to take executive decisions; and
(ii) That meetings of the Board will be conducted in accordance with the Council’s Constitution.
