Purpose:

The Board will be provided with a presentation by the London Fire Brigade around how London Fire Brigade and health and social care organisations can work more closely on key issues.

 

The Board will be asked to note the information provided in the report.

The Board:

 

(i)  Discussed the information provided and the proposed work to investigate the potential improvements identified for the prevention of fires for vulnerable people, including the potential for Joint Partnership working and bid opportunities.

 

(ii)  Agreed, in principle, to support the actions set out in the report and to work with the Fire Brigade to produce a Partnership approach to service provision fire and other risk assessments, which would be reported back to the Board in due course.
