Purpose:
The Board will be provided with an update on NELFT's Quality Improvement Plan in response to the CQC inspection report of September 2016, including progress in delivery against the plan and an update on the re-inspection of the Brookside Ward.
The report will also include an update on any other plans that NELFT are developing for 2017/18.
Decision:
The Board:
(i) Noted the rapid progress that had been made to achieve a CQC ‘requires improvement’ overall rating, which included the reopening of Brookside, and the ongoing work on the quality improvement action plan;
(ii) Noted that a further report would be presented, possibly to the next meeting, on the options to meet NELFT savings target.
