Appeal against dismissal Minutes: The Board convened to consider an appeal from an employee in Community Solutions, against dismissal from the Council. The appellant was present at the hearing and was unaccompanied.
In line with the procedure for the meeting, the Presenting Officer explained the circumstances and the processes which led to the dismissal and responded to questions from the Board and the appellant. The appellant then presented their appeal. There were a number of questions from the Board and Presenting Officer which the appellant responded to.
Following summaries from both the Presenting Officer and the appellant, the Board retired to make a decision in private and having considered the papers as presented and the submissions made at the meeting,
RESOLVED to dismiss the appeal.
