In order to improve support to family carers and meet the requirements of the Care Bill the Board will be asked to:
1. Agree a new Joint Carers Strategy between LBBD and Clinical Commissioning Group and proposed revisions to existing commissioning requirements
2. Authorise the Corporate Director of Adult and Community Services, with the Chief Operating Officer, Barking and Dagenham Clinical Commissioning Group, and in consultation with the Head of Legal and Democratic Services to seek tenders for Carers Services.
