As part of this Council’s plans for greater local devolution, proposals have been drawn up in partnership with seven neighbouring Councils for the creation of the Local London Partnership, which would replace both the existing Joint Committee of the Six Growth Boroughs and the North East London Strategic Alliance (NELSA) and be the primary body working with the Government to realise the devolution agenda.
The Cabinet will be asked to approve proposals for the formal establishment of the Local London Partnership, including the funding arrangements for the new body.
