In 2014, the London Boroughs of Barking and Dagenham, Havering, Redbridge and Waltham Forest agreed to merge Emergency Duty Teams (EDT), with the service delivered by North East London Foundation Trust (NELFT). The contract for this service ends in April 2017.
The Board will be asked to approve a new three-year contract for a shared service arrangement to be delivered by NELFT.
