The development of the creative industries is a cornerstone of the Borough’s cultural and growth agendas and a priority for the Mayor of London.
The Cabinet will be asked to approve the ‘Roding Made - the Barking Creative Enterprise Zone’ action plan, which will set out proposals to bring together artists, local businesses and landowners to create and develop new jobs, establish and secure new spaces for creative production and open up opportunities for talented young people who are considering careers in the creative industries.
