The Cabinet will be asked to increase the direct payment rate to parents and carers of disabled children to align it to that of other Local Authorities, the rate charged by Adults’ Care and Support and to ensure that it aligns to the London Living Wage, to enable parents/ carers in receipt of direct payments to access more providers within the care market.
