Redevelopment of 53 - 135 Roxwell Road and 2 & 4 Stebbing Way, Thames View Estate

53-135 Roxwell Road and 2-4 Stebbing Way have been earmarked for redevelopment in the Council’s Estate Renewal Programme 2015-2021, Be First’s Business Plan, and the Investment and Acquisition Strategy 2017, all of which have been approved by Cabinet. The Cabinet report will explain the outcome of the resident engagement in respect of these redevelopment proposals, in accordance with s.105 of the Housing Act 1985 and seek approval to serve demolition notices and in principle use of Compulsory Purchase Order (CPO) powers, and approval to appropriate the land from the Housing Revenue Account to the General Fund.
