The Council is currently in the process of service redesign to ensure that its new service gives better outcomes for babies, children and young people, and their families in the borough, in line with the Best Chance Babies, Children and Young People strategy, aligning it with start for life / family hubs, and including support for families in areas of particular need. The Board will be asked to approve an extension to the current contract to take it to 31st March 2024, so procurement for the new service can be undertaken with the intention that the new service starts on 1st April 2024.
