The Cabinet will be asked to approve proposals relating to the commissioning of Healthy Weight Services via a contract with an organisation with expertise in developing innovative healthy weight initiatives and engaging with communities, which would support local residents to achieve healthy weight by testing out interventions and evaluating different models of prevention, culminating in the production of a sustainable, system wide, all-age, ‘Healthy Weight Action Plan’ for the Borough.
