The Cabinet will be asked to approve arrangements for the procurement of replacement Framework Agreements to cover the full range of investment in new and existing housing stock.

Cabinet resolved:

(i)  To agree the procurement of new Housing Framework Agreements for the provision of the services in accordance with the strategy set out in the report;

(ii)  To authorise the Director of Housing, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Housing, the Chief Finance Officer and the Head of Legal and Democratic Services, to conduct the procurement and award the contract to the successful bidders; and

(iii)  That a report on the first year’s performance of the successful bidders and their use of local labour and local supply chains be presented to the Cabinet in respect of this Framework and the Construction Related Professional Services Framework referred to above.
