The Cabinet will be asked to approve proposals relating to the procurement of ten mechanised street sweeping vehicles via an EU compliant framework contract.

Cabinet resolved to:

(i)  Agree that the Council proceeds with the procurement of a contract for the supply of 10 Street Sweeping Vehicles, to be delivered through an EU compliant framework contract in accordance with the strategy set out in the report; and

(ii)  Delegate authority to the Strategic Director of Customer, Commercial and Service Delivery, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Environment, the Strategic Director of Finance and Investment and the Director of Law and Governance, to award the contract to the successful bidder.
