Purpose:

The report will inform the Board of the CAMHS Transformation Plan which was developed by the Children and Maternity Sub-Group as well as presenting the CAMHS Needs Assessment.

 

The Board will be asked to discuss and note the CAMHS Transformation Plan and to discus and agree the recommendations set out in the CAMHS Needs Assessment.

Decision:

The Board:

 

(i)  Endorsed the findings of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Needs Assessment and noted the areas of good provision and gaps set out in the report.

 

(ii)  Agreed that the findings be used to support the commissioning of Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services for the residents of Barking and Dagenham.
