Purpose:
The Cabinet will be asked to approve the Borough Local Plan 2020 - 2035 for public consultation (Regulation 19). Accompanying documentation will include an updated Local Development Scheme, which lists the documentation and programme for local planning documents, and an updated Statement of Community Involvement, which sets out consultation expectations for plan preparation and for developers.
Decision:
(i) Approve the Local Development Scheme 2019 for publication; and
(ii) Approve the Statement of Community Involvement 2019 refresh for consultation and note that a full review of the document shall take place following the submission of the Local Plan.
