Decision details

In July 2017 the Board was updated on the development of the Plan for the 2017-19 Integration and Better Care Fund (BCF) , and delegated authority to approve the Plan.

Following the publication of policy guidance for the BCF, this report will update the Board on the further developments to the local BCF Plan, and seek the opinion and discussion of the Board.

The Board:

(i)   Noted the contents of the report and the Plan summary;

(ii)  Noted that work was ongoing in the development of funding mechanisms amongst the partners and the impact on direct payment;

(iii)  Supported the continuance of the 45 days target for transfer to social care; and

(iv)   Noted that update reports would be presented in due course.
