Decision details

The Cabinet will be presented with the independent Domestic Abuse Commission’s final report prior to its publication at the Commission’s public launch event.  The Council’s response to the Commission’s findings will be presented to the Assembly later in the year.

Cabinet resolved to:

(i)  Agree to the publication of the Independent Domestic Abuse Commission Report, as set out at Appendix 1 to the report; and

(ii)  Note that the Council’s formal response to the Commission, outlining how it intended to respond to the Commission’s recommendations, shall be presented to a future meeting of the Cabinet for approval.
