Abbey Care Home, Collier Row Road, Romford- 14/00786/OUT Members have requested a site visit in advance of the item being presented to Development Control Board to consider the site and its immediate surroundings.
Additional documents: Minutes: The Visiting Sub-Committee met at Abbey Care Home, Collier Row Road, Romford in order to review and assess the application in respect of its immediate surroundings and impact on the metropolitan green belt. This application had been deferred from the Board meeting on 14 September 2015 in order for this visit to take place.
The Sub-Committee inspected the premises inside and the area outside of the Care Home. At present, it catered for a maximum of twenty with sixteen in residence however the planned application would involve significantly larger premises with the capacity for 38 residents.
The Sub-Committee noted that the Mayor of London had no concerns on the application, which would be submitted to the Development Control Board on 12 October 2015. |
