Appeal against dismissal Minutes: The Board convened to consider an appeal from an employee in Community Solutions, against dismissal from the Council. The appellant was present at the hearing and was unaccompanied.
In line with the procedure for the meeting, the Presenting Officer explained the circumstances and stages leading to the dismissal and responded to questions from the Board and the appellant. The appellant then presented their appeal referring to the papers which he presented at the meeting. There were a number of questions from the Board which the appellant responded to.
The Board then retired to make a decision in private and having considered the papers as presented and the submissions made at the meeting, RESOLVED: to dismiss the appeal.
