Cabinet resolved to:
(i) Agree the procurement of a contract for the provision of asbestos removal works in residential council properties, schools and corporate buildings in accordance with the strategy set out in this report; and
(ii) Confirm that Cabinet is content for the Interim Director of Housing, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Housing, the Chief Finance Officer and the Head of Legal and Democratic Services, to conduct the procurement and award the contract to the successful bidder.
