In 2005 a Health Check of 41 of the Borough’s Neighbourhood centres was undertaken to provide an evidence base for planning polices. The environmental quality of the shopping centres was identified as a key factor in determining the attractiveness of a parade
The Executive will be asked to approve the list of identified shopping parades, to agree for further feasibility study work to be undertaken around the identified areas and for a comprehensive consultation with local communities and retailers to be undertaken
