Establishment of the Health and Wellbeing Board

From 1 April 2013, the Health and Social Care Act 2012 places a requirement on every local authority to operate a Health and Wellbeing Board, which will be a committee under Section 102 of the Local Government Act 1972. The Assembly will be asked to approve the necessary additions and amendments to the Council’s Constitution to incorporate the new committee and set out its terms of reference and membership in readiness for the statutory requirement coming into force
