The Council currently contracts with 11 property agents for the provision of approximately 890 Private Sector Licensed properties for use as temporary accommodation for homeless households.
The current contract expires on 30 April 2014 and the Cabinet will be asked to agree proposals to procure a new contract and to extend the current contract for up to six months or to the commencement of the new contract, whichever is the sooner.
