By Minute 113 (19 March 2013), the Cabinet approved plans to implement a series of highways and public realm improvements to the busy road junction at Merry Fiddlers in Becontree Heath. Following the completion of detailed design work, the Cabinet will now be asked to agree some minor amendments to the scheme which are required in order to address concerns raised by Transport for London regarding traffic signal operations and pedestrian crossing movements.
