Establishment of Pension Board

The Public Services Pensions Act 2013 requires the Council to establish a Pension Board with effect from 1 April 2015.  The Pension Board will not be a decision-making body in relation to the management of the LBBD Pension Fund but instead will oversee the work of the Council’s Pensions Panel, which has overall responsibility for the Fund’s management powers and responsibilities.

 

The Assembly will be asked to approve the establishment of the new Pension Board, including its terms of reference.
