On 4 August 2014, Cabinet approved a new housing allocations policy which took effect for new applicants from 3 November 2014.
The Cabinet will be asked to agree to apply the new policy retrospectively to all applications received prior to 3 November 2014, as a means of ensuring a consistent and transparent approach to the assessment of all housing applications.
