“Prevention: A Local Framework for Preventing, Reducing and Delaying Care and Support Needs In Adults” that was presented to the Board on 12 May 2015, introduced the local Prevention Approach with an accompanying Prevention Framework, which proposed a way in which the Council and its Partners should respond to the statutory obligation laid out in the Care Act 2014.
This report will update the Board on the progress of embedding the Prevention Approach locally.
