At its meeting on 9 March 2016, the Cabinet approved proposals to consult on the introduction of a scheme to provide an affordable home ownership option for tenants on lower incomes meeting their aspirations to become home owners, which would be open to all tenants who meet affordability and qualifying criteria.
The Cabinet will be advised on the outcome of the consultation and asked to agree the implementation of the scheme.
