The Cabinet will be asked to approve the formalisation of the current long-term use of three parks’ sports facilities in Mayesbrook Park and Central Park by entering into lease agreements with the local sports clubs that operate them. This will provide security of tenure for the clubs and enable them to apply for grant and other funding to invest in their facilities.
