The Cabinet will be asked to approve proposals relating to the procurement of a new term contract for building maintenance services, aimed at encouraging the use of locally based labour, including reactive repairs and minor works to all non-domestic Council buildings and schools and to provide extra capacity (where required) to support the new in-house Housing Repairs and Maintenance Service following the expiry of the current contract.
