Controlled parking zones (CPZs) are intended to tackle congestion and improve road safety and traffic flow. The Cabinet will be asked to approve a new policy for the introduction of controlled parking zones, which will include details of the technical assessment for viability and consultation arrangements and the criteria based on the Council’s Parking Strategy.
