Contract for the Provision of a Generic Advice Service

The Council has a statutory duty under the Care Act 2014 to establish and maintain an information and advice service and currently commissions a Generic Advice and Enhanced Welfare Rights Service, delivered by the Citizens Advice Bureau.  The current arrangement is due to expire on 31 January 2020 and the Cabinet will be asked to approve proposals for the retendering of the contract.
