The East London Waste Authority (ELWA), the Borough’s statutory waste disposal authority, is refreshing its Joint Resources and Waste Strategy as part of the preparations for new waste disposal arrangements when its current 25-year Integrated Waste Management Services contract expires in 2027.
The Cabinet will be asked to consider and endorse the draft terms and objectives of ELWA’s revised Joint Resources and Waste Strategy for public consultation.
