The Cabinet will be asked to approve an updated Household Waste and Recycling Collections Policy which will bring together approved practice in relation to green garden waste collection, household waste collection and the types of receptacles used in the collection of waste, into a single policy that provides for the efficient and effective collection of waste aimed at increasing recycling and reducing the amount of waste sent to landfill.
