The Government has extended the Household Support Fund (HSF) for a further six months from 01 October 2022 to 31 March 2023 to support those most in need as a consequence of the cost-of-living crisis, with LBBD being allocated circa £2.16m.
The Cabinet will be asked to approve the Council’s proposed approach to the allocation of the funding, in line with the Government’s criteria.
