The Cabinet will be asked to approve proposals to establish an Open Framework, to bereopened every two years up to a maximum of eight years, for the provision of accommodation and support for looked-after young people aged 16 and older (up to a maximum age of 25), with the aim of providing a range of placement provisions that best meet the individual needs of looked-after young people whose needs are often ongoing.
