1.	Declaration of Members' Interests In accordance with the Council’s Constitution, Members are asked to declare any interest they may have in any matter which is to be considered at this meeting. Minutes: There were no declarations of interest.

3.	Appointment of Mayor 2022/23 The Council is asked to receive nominations for the appointment of Mayor for 2022/23. Minutes: The Chair asked for nominations for the appointment of Mayor for the 2022/23 municipal year. Cllr L Rice moved that Cllr Faruk Choudhury be appointed as the Mayor of the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham for the forthcoming year 2022/23. The motion was seconded by Cllr Ashraf. There were no other nominations. The Council resolved that Cllr Faruk Choudhury be appointed as Mayor of the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham for the 2022/23 municipal year.
4.	Young Mayor 2022/23 The Council is asked to note the election by the Barking and Dagenham Youth Forum of Zubin Burley as Young Mayor of Barking and Dagenham for 2022/23. Minutes: The Acting Chief Executive advised that the Barking and Dagenham (BAD) Youth Forum had appointed a new Young Mayor, Zubin Burley, following its election process in February 2022. The Leader of the Council conveyed the Council’s appreciation to the outgoing Young Mayor, Labella Anum, for the able manner in which she discharged her duties during 2021/22. The Council noted the appointment of Zubin Burley as Young Mayor for 2022/23.
